Luca Coromano
Graduated in Forest and Environmental Sciences with a consolidated experience in the planning, management and enhancement of natural heritage, gained both in his previous freelance activity and in the public administration. He has developed specialist skills in the design of forestry interventions, in the drafting of forest clearance plans, in environmental impact assessments and in the technical and administrative management of forest resources.
Since 2019 he has been Councilor of the Municipality of Riccia, with delegations to the Budget, Transport, Agriculture and Forestry. In the exercise of the task, it contributes to the strategic planning of the institution, the management of territorial development policies and the enhancement of the environmental and forest heritage, promoting interventions oriented to sustainability, the protection of natural resources and the development of rural areas.
Giovanni Santopuoli
Professor and researcher in Forest Management and Planning at the University of Molise. Its scientific activity is focused on the monitoring of forest ecosystems, sustainable forest management and climate-smart forestry, with particular attention to the evaluation of tree growth responses in relation to climate change.
His research integrates advanced technologies, such as remote sensing, LiDAR, territorial analysis and Internet of Things (IoT) applications, to develop innovative approaches to forest monitoring, biodiversity conservation and the definition of adaptive management strategies oriented to the resilience of forest ecosystems.
He has participated in numerous research projects at local, national and international level, contributing to the development of methodologies and decision support tools for sustainable forest planning and management, integrative forest management and climate-smart forestry.
Luigi Torregiani
Journalist and forestry doctor; he collaborates permanently with the magazine "Sherwood - Foreste ed Alberi Oggi" and "L'AltraMontagna", the online newspaper dedicated to Terre Alte.
For Compagnia delle Foreste, it takes care of the communication of projects dedicated to Sustainable Forest Management and the conservation of forest biodiversity; it produces and conducts podcasts, videos and documentaries on forest issues.
He published for Compagnia delle Foreste "Il mio bosco è di tutti", a novel for children.
For People he published "Sottocorteccia - a journey through the changing woods", written with anthropologist Pietro Lacasella.
